Chute Pool Lodge is located on the renowned, rough and tough wilderness salmon river, the Pinware.
The Pinware River flows into the Strait of Belle Isle, thirty-five miles north of the Quebec/Labrador border in a scenic area surrounded by many small fishing villages. The Pinware is 80 kilometers (50 miles) long with an average width of about 90 meters (300) feet. The varied character of the river provides a challenge to the sport fisherperson; long steadies, over a thousand grilse holes, create an exciting atmosphere for the avid fisherperson. Boats are stored on different parts of the river to ensure access to the best fishing spots and walking trails to selected pools. |
